Strength & Balance
 

The Strength and Balance series will provide you with exercise sessions that are really simple, easy and enjoyable to follow. Your instructor, Stephen Gammack (www.soulf.it) will guide you through a range of movements to stretch and strengthen your whole body and improve balance.  There is a focus on good posture and body alignment to support your wellbeing.  The session will have progressions and easier options for those who need it and will work in standing and on the mat.

Stephen is a qualified sports therapist, trained in Sports Therapy and Exercise Science with over 20 years experience in fitness and health. 

For this class you will need the following:
  • A set of dumbbells (you can use two waterbottles or cans of food)
  • exercise bands (alternative – towel)
  • exercise mat
You will require access to a computer with speakers (a microphone and video camera are a bonus). Event sessions are delivered using Zoom conferencing. Carers NSW will send you instructions about how you can join the session on the day before each session.

The duration of this session is 60 minutes.
