Caring through Crisis: Disaster Planning

Caring through Crisis: disaster planning provides carers with an opportunity to plan ahead for future emergencies, especially when caring for someone with complex needs. The session will focus on:

  • Understanding your risks
  • Knowing what to do before, during and after a disaster
  • Knowing who can assist you and
  • Having the tools and knowledge to plan ahead.

You will require access to a computer with speakers (a microphone and video camera are a bonus). Training is delivered using the ZOOM platform. Carers NSW will send you instructions about how you can join the session on the day before each session.
