Carers as Partners in Care

This workshop is designed to build the confidence of CHSP funded aged care providers (front-line staff, managers) to deliver quality, person centred care in partnership with older people, their families, and carers.

In this session, you will learn how to:

  • Understand the vital role families and carers play in person centred care

  • Navigate key Aged Care Quality Standards to enhance carer inclusive practices

  • Apply practical strategies and access resources to implement carer-inclusive care in your organisation.

Don’t miss this opportunity to strengthen your skills and improve outcomes for your clients and their support networks.

You will require access to a computer with speakers (a microphone and video camera are a bonus). Training is delivered using the ZOOM platform. Carers NSW will send you instructions about how you can join the session on the day before each session.

The duration for this workshop is 45 minutes.
