- Run in partnership with the Queensland Government Mentoring for Growth (M4G) team and the private sector.
- Connects businesses to mentors (volunteer business experts) who provide feedback about business' growth opportunity and options for applying.
- The M4G session is a supportive and dedicated time for businesses to discuss potential growth with mentors.

Get ready to apply
Have the following information ready:
- information about your business
- business details (including business name, ABN, phone, email, website, street address, ANZSIC industry, sectors, and diversity)
- business primary contact details
- number of years trading
- brief description of your business
- employee headcount
Prepare the following materials:
- Upload - Business Plan
- Upload - Mentee Deed Poll (signed, witnessed, and attached to this registration)
- Financial information:
- Turnover 2019/20
- Turnover 2021/21 (financial year to date)
- Forecast turnover for remaining months of 2020/21
- Factors contributing to change
- Gross Profit 2019/20
- Evidence upload - Profit and Loss Statement 2019/20
- Evidence upload - Balance Sheet 2019/20
- Evidence upload - Profit and Loss Statement 2020/21
About the Mentee Deed Poll
To participate in in the M4G program, all mentees must sign, witness, and return a Mentee Deed Poll. All the M4G mentors are also required to sign a deed poll document.
DESBT cannot book your mentoring session until you have provided your completed Mentee Deed Poll.
After registering
- You will be contacted by the M4G team as soon as possible to schedule your mentoring session.
Preparing for the session
- Review the program guidelines and terms and conditions in detail.
- It is important that you have prepared appropriate resources beforehand to ensure that you gain the most out of your M4G session with expert business mentors.

- managing the Mentoring for Growth and Business Growth Fund programs
- promoting relevant issues and services to you
- researching and reporting on programs.

- individuals registered as Mentors
- Queensland government departments and agencies
- Minister for Employment and Small Business
- Commonwealth government departments and agencies
