Carers Skills Course

Carers NSW is creating a training program for the practical skills carers may need when supporting an older person. We would like to know what information and advice has been helpful for you and what you think of the resources we have created to date.

This 6 week interactive, online course helps carers to build their practical skills, knowledge and confidence in caring for an older person. Carers are welcome to attend a 2 hour workshop every week, or select which weeks are of interest to them.

You will require access to a computer with speakers (a microphone and video camera are a bonus). Training is delivered via zoom. Carers NSW will send you instructions on how to join the session on the day before each session.
