Panel Discussion - Accelerating Fintech with AI: Opportunity, Challenges, Responsibility and Future

Since 2015 with the second wave of AI driven by machine learning and deep learning technologies, AI has re-emerged as one of the most potent technologies having disruptive impact to the humankind across all sectors including financial services industry. On this panel, we will have a dialogue with some of the leading and most promising AI Fintech players in Singapore that gain their insights on how they have thrived in the Singapore Fintech ecosystem.

The panel discussion will cover three key topics:

  • Opportunities – hear from the unicorn and startups the specific areas where they have innovated with AI technology that leads to their success in the Fintech space.
  • Challenges & Responsibility – what are the challenges they face innovating with AI for Fintech? what are the specific areas they have taken on more responsibility to protect their customers and mitigate risks? How do they handle compliance and what are the future regulation areas that they are anticipating?
  • Future – What are some of most exciting applications in AI to grow and scale their business? (e.g. operation efficiency, customer experience, security, risk management or blue ocean space with brand new financial services.) Also, as Singapore is one of the world’s leading Fintech hub, what else Singapore could do better to cultivate her Fintech ecosystem to sustain their continuous success for years for come?
